Full Moon Ribs
  are perfect circles with thick, rounded edges. They don't "grab" so it doesn't hurt if the rib touches the advancing clay. The thick edge gives compression and not scraping. Full Moon Ribs are not templates that dictate the shape of the bowl; they push the clay where you push them.
